Megabucks Full Wheel (Megabucks Combinations Generator)
Otherwise known as a Lottery Wheel, this utility generates all the combinations of a selected set of Megabucks numbers into groups of 6, with the
option of fixing some selections. Fixed numbers are those numbers that the user wants to appear in all generated plays.
This Megabucks wheel is divided into two parts - Preview and Generation, which function independently. The Preview part is
intended for analyzing the scenarios and expected outcomes of the combinations of a set of numbers before they are
generated.
The generation part lists the plays based on the user's selections. First, the user selects a set of Megabucks numbers, and
may optionally fix some of them, and then chooses either to view the scenarios or to generate the required combinations.
If no numbers are fixed, the generated plays will be all the possible combinations of the selected numbers. If some
numbers are fixed, then the plays will be generated by combining the fixed numbers with all the possible combinations
of the rest of the selected numbers.
The purpose of fixing some numbers is to reduce the number of plays generated. This results in lower cost, but
at the expense of reduces chance of winning. For instance, the combinations of 12 numbers will result
in 924 plays of Megabucks; but if 4 of the numbers are fixed, the number of plays becomes 28. This utility allows you to fix upto
upto 5 numbers. To choose which numbers to fix, you may arbitrarily do so, or you may use the results of our
'Numbers Analysis' as well as our 'Pairs Analysis ' and ' Triads analysis'.
A Megabucks jackpot is guaranteed if the fixed numbers are all winning numbers, plus if all the other winning numbers are
among the selected numbers. If no numbers are fixed, then a jackpot is guaranteed as long as the winning numbers are
all within the selected numbers. All other scenarios can be viewed by manipulating the 'what if..' situations in the
Preview section as demonstrated below.
Usage Example for Megabucks
The following explanations are best understood if you open the
Megabucks Full Wheel Generator
window and execute the examples yourself.
Let us suppose that we want to play all Megabucks numbers that are divisible by 4, that is,
4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32, 36, 40, 44, 48 (a total of 12).
To preview the scenarios, select 12 from the
drop-down numbers on the Preview panel and press "Show Scenario".
The total number of plays to be generated will be shown as 924 in the Scenario panel. Now, we can manipulate some
'what if' situations to see how the 924 tickets would fare. For example, if 5 of these numbers are winners,
then select 0 as fixed, 5 as other selections, and
then press the 'Show Results' button. You will see that 7 of our Megabucks plays(tickets) will match 5-of-6,
105 will match 4-of-6
, and so on. If all of the winning numbers are divisible by 4, then it
will be celebration time.
Now let us see the effect fixing 4 of our numbers. Go back to the Preview panel and select 12 as the numbers to play and 4 as the
numbers to fix, and then press the button. In this case there will be only 28 plays
to be generated all of which, as you'll see later, will contain the 4 fixed numbers. Here, the scenarios will
involve how many of the fixed numbers and how many of the other selected numbers are winners.
For example, if 3 of the fixed numbers and 2 of the other selected numbers
are winners, then 1 of the 28 tickets will match 5-of-6,
12 will match 4-of-6, and so forth.
Generation of Megabucks combinations
The generation part shouldn't pose any problem except how to select and fix the desired Megabucks numbers. To select a number,
just click on it. To fix a number, click on an already selected number. To unselect a number, click on an already
fixed number. Thus, a cycle of clicks on a number will select, fix, and unselect it, respectively.
After selecting the numbers, you can preview the scenarios by pressing the "Scenarios" button.
To list the resulting Megabucks combinations, click on the 'Generate' button.
At this point, you can select the 12 Megabucks numbers of our example and see the outcome. Also, you may fix 4 numbers, say,
4, 12, and 24, and click "Generate". Observe that all the generated combinations will contain 4, 12 and 24.
