Oklahoma Lottery General Information

The Oklahoma Lottery plays three state drawn game - Pick 3, Pick 4, and Cash 5.

Top prizes listed with "rollover" are the starting amount. The Jackpot prizes will grow after every draw until someone wins.
Pari-mutuel prize structure means players' winnings are determined by dividing the prize pool allocated for that winning category by the
number of winners.

Oklahoma Lottery General Rules and Regulations
The following are the most prominent rules and regulations that the player should be aware of before playing the Oklahoma lottery games.
- Oklahoma Lottery players must be 18 years of age or older.
- All Oklahoma Lottery tickets must be purchased with cash only. No checks, credit cards, debit cards.
- Oklahoma Lottery tickets cannot be bought by mail. Federal law and postal regulations do not allow an unplayed lottery ticket to be mailed.
- Oklahoma Lottery tickets cannot be bought over the Internet.
- Losing a lottery ticket is like losing cash. Protect yourself by signing the back of your tickets when you buy them. At the
very least, sign any winning tickets even before claiming your prize. Lottery tickets are bearer instruments. Unless you sign a
ticket, anyone else who has the ticket can claim the prize.

Claiming Prizes of the Oklahoma Lottery
Here are the steps you have to follow if you are a lucky winner of any Oklahoma lottery,
- Winning tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the winning draw date on the ticket.
- You can claim any prize in person or by mail.
- All cash prizes under $600 can be redeemed at ANY participating retailer across the state.
- Prizes exceeding $600 can be claimed at the Oklahoma Lottery Headquarters, any Authorized Lottery Claim Centers or by mail.
- Prizes of $5,001 or more must be claimed through Lottery Headquarters. Claim forms are supplied by any Lottery retailer or
you can download a claim form at the OK lottery official web site.
- For all prizes over $600, the Lottery will issue a federal form W2-G to the winner. For all prizes over $5,000, all
applicable state and federal taxes will automatically be withheld, 4% State and 25% Federal.
- The first $500,000 of unclaimed prize monies shall be transferred to the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse
Services. All other unclaimed prizes will be added back to the overall prize pool to be awarded for future prizes or special prize promotions.

Where do the Oklahoma Lottery profits go?
35% of all lottery proceeds go to the Oklahoma Education Lottery Trust Fund and are allocated as follows:
- 45% - Kindergarten through 12th Grade Public Education
- 45% - Tuition grants, loans and scholarships to citizens of this state
- 5% - Teachers' Retirement System Dedicated Revenue Revolving Fund
- 5% - School Consolidation and Assistance Fund
