How to Play Pennsylvania Big 4 Lottery
From a Pennsylvania Lottery retailer (a gas station, a convenience store, a food store, etc. which plays PA Lottery) get
a Big 4 playslip. A playslip contains five different play areas. Each play area represents a different Big 4 play.
Each play area contains four columns of the digits 0 to 9. Mark the first digit of your number on the first column, the second digit
on the second column, the third digit on the third column, and the fourth digit on the fourth column. So, if you want to play
8142, then 8 will be marked in the first column, 1 in the second column, 4 in the third column, and 2 in the fourth column. Next
select and mark the amount (50¢ or $1), then select the type of play - Straight or Box.
The numbers you are playing are valid only for the next draw. You may specify either the day or evining draw, or both. In fact,
playing both draws doubles the price.
Next, present the completed playslip to the lottery retailer to receive your printed ticket. Check your ticket immediately to
ensure that the numbers, dates, and play type match your request.
You may also look at a Daily Number playslip here.
