Pennsylvania Lottery Daily Number Pair Frequency and Last Appearance

The Pennsylvania Lottery Daily Number pairs analysis involves two sets of data. The first is the number of times a pair is drawn for the entire history of the game while the second set is how many draws have elapsed since a Daily Number pair's last appearance. Whether pairs are included as a play type of the state's game or not, these analyses coupled with others, such as digits and sums analyses, will hopefully help you select the Daily Number numbers to play.

The Analysis was performed on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 with 471 as the latest Pennsylvania Daily Number number. Just in case, the front pair of this number is 47, back pair, 71, and split pair, 41.

Expected frequency of each Daily Number pair is 163 (rounded to the closest integer).

Each Daily Number pair, whether repeating or not, has equal chance of being drawn. Since we have 100 of each (front, back, and split), such pairs are expected to show up every 100 draws. We have shown in blue those Daily Number pairs that have not been drawn between 200 and 300 draws (late pairs). And in red, those that have not been drawn in the last 300 or more draws(very late pairs)

There is also another method of pairs analysis which we haven't included here. It is "pairs at any position and any order", or in other words, "two numbers appearing together". For instance, 12 in 120, 219, 102, etc. In fact, you can use our Pennsylvania Daily Number number search by entering "12-" to list all past Daily Number draws that contain 1 and 2. In such type of pairs analysis, non-repeating pairs such as 12 have a better chance of being drawn than repeating, such as 11.
