You can generate the combinations of a selected set of lottery numbers of the Virginia Cash 5 game with or without fixing some of them. The purpose of fixing some numbers is to reduce the number of lottery plays generated. This results in lower cost, but at the expense of reduces chance of winning. For instance, the combinations of 8 lottery numbers will result in 56 lottery plays of Virginia Cash 5; but if 3 of the numbers are fixed, the number of lottery plays becomes 10. Full Wheel Usage Example for Cash 5

Let us suppose that we want to play all Virginia Cash 5 lottery numbers that are divisible by 4, that is, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32 (a total of 8). To preview the scenarios, select 8 from the drop-down numbers on the Preview panel and click on "Show Scenario". The total number of lottery plays to be generated will be shown as 56. Now, we can manipulate some 'what if' situations to see how the 56 lottery tickets would fare. For example, clicking on the 'If 4 correct' line will list that 4 of our Cash 5 lottery plays(tickets) will match 4-of-5, 24 will match 3-of-5, and so on. If all of the winning lottery numbers are divisible by 4, then it will be celebration time.

Now let us see the effect fixing 3 of our lottery numbers. While leaving 8 as the numbers to play, select 3 as the numbers to fix, and click the button. In this case there will be only 10 lottery plays to be generated all of which, as you'll see later, will contain the 3 fixed numbers. Here, the scenarios will involve how many of the fixed numbers and how many of the other selected lottery numbers are winners. For example, if 2 of the fixed numbers and 2 of the other selected lottery numbers are winners, then 1 of the 10 tickets will match 4-of-5, 6 will match 3-of-5, and so forth.

The generation part of Virginia Cash 5 combinations shouldn't pose any problem. As explained above, a cycle of clicks on a number will select, fix, and unselect it, respectively. The 'Generate' button will list the resulting Cash 5 combinations in a new browser window.
